Dance-a-thon 2015

Support Kennedy's Dance-a-thon! We are fundraising to purchase playground equipments and support SickKid's Pets at Work (PAWS) program. Student gets a ballot for every $5 donation. Our goal is to have each student gather at least $20 in sponsorship. Thanks to our staff and community support, we have many amazing prices to be drawn. Some examples are McDonalds meals, Casey's Bar and Grill gift certificates, Scholastic gift certificates, sport equipments, gold fish, stuffed animals, pizza lunches, etc. Check our display case and bulletin board at school for more prizes. We also have the privilege to welcome GrooveEDGEucation, who will run curriculum-based dance sessions for all students at the Dance-a-thon. A great way to start the year!

Kennedy P.S. (Toronto District School Board), has accepted the ALS ice bucket challenge nominated by one of our teachers. Thanks to the support of our staff, students and parents, Kennedy P.S. is donating $500 to ALS Society of Canada. This was a great activity to bring our school together and bring awareness of this disease to our community. We hope our small contributions will help those affected by this disease and one day, a cure will be found. We are now nominating all ER18 schools!
