Since May 2010, the Ministry of Education has produced a new policy which outlines very specific requirements for all School Boards in assessment, evaluation, and reporting for Grades 1 - 12. This new policy is found in a document called "Growing Success".



As part of the new policy starting in 2010-11, elementary and secondary schools across Ontario will be sending home new report cards. The new report cards change the way we communicate a student's progress and achievement. They will help give parents better information about how their child is doing at school.
