Jarvis offers a wide range of courses, programs, and extra-curricular activities. As a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.) school, the students in our classrooms are engaged in project-based learning. An inquiry method of teaching and learning is utilized as students partake in independent and collaborative studies within the S.T.E.M. fields. Further, our Advanced Placement (A.P.) and Pre-Advanced Placement classes offer students in grades 9-12 an enriched curriculum recognized by the College Board.
Jarvis offers students the opportunity to enroll in our Business Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM). A SHSM is a ministry-approved specialized program that allows students to focus their learning on a specific economic sector while meeting the requirements for the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
