TDSB Hockey Academy

Now in its third year, the Hockey Academy is a learn-to-play hockey program run by volunteer TDSB staff, teachers, principals and members of the community at the MasterCard Centre for Hockey Excellence. Using some of the TDSB’s 500 hours of free ice time at the MasterCard Centre, 60 grade 5 boys and girls are, once again, spending their early Friday mornings learning how to play hockey, discovering team work, and keeping fit.

At Runnymede we place high value on providing quality athletic programs and believe that sport is an important avenue for students to develop many life skills.
