What is RUSTCO, you might ask?

RUSTCO is Runnymede’s Student Council - a group of students chosen by their peers to represent them in the school. RUSTCO’s main objective is to be the voice of the students, but we are also concerned with raising school spirit through fun activities.

What has RUSTCO done?

So far this year, RUSTCO has organized a series of events meant to increase school spirit. These activities include our first ever Grade 9 Welcome Week, the much anticipated KOD (Kick Off Dance), Semi-Formal, Holiday Bash, and Spirit Week. RUSTCO has also organized cafeteria events, the All-Council’s bake sale, and various dress down days.

How do I get involved, you say?

RUSTCO positions are open to any student of Runnymede, in any grade. Executive elections for the positions of President, Senior Vice President, and Junior Vice President are held every May. Keep your eyes peeled for application packages in April. Elections for grade representative positions are held in September. Listen for announcements to get your application package to run for grade rep.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
