TDSB e-Summer School Registration

          

Registration for the 2026 e-Summer School Program is now open.  Registration will close on June 2 at 12 NOON for the July Session and July 9 at 12 NOON for the August Session.

Please Note: e-Reg is available 24/7 and additional classes of individual courses are created throughout the registration process to meet student requests, dependent only on the availability of teachers.  

 

For Summer 2026:

• All Grade 9 and 10 online Summer School credit courses will be delivered synchronously through the Continuing Education Remote Summer Program.

• All Grade 11 and 12 online Summer School credit courses will be delivered asynchronously through the e-Summer Program.

• The Grade 8 to 9 Reach Ahead Summer Credit course will be offered only in-person through the Continuing Education Reach Ahead Credit Program

• Important 2026 Information for Current Grade 12 TDSB Students: 

As part of the 1:1 Student Device Program, all students are required to return their TDSB-issued device upon graduation. Devices are collected and deactivated prior to the start of Summer 2026 sessions.

To participate in Remote Summer and e-Summer courses, TDSB graduates require a personal computer or access to a public computer (such as at a local library) with a reliable internet connection.

If a student does not have access to a computer, in-person summer learning options are also available.

Current TDSB Student Registration Instructions

Attention Current Grade 12 TDSB Students: Your TDSB-issued 1:1 device will be deactivated and collected prior to the start of Summer 2026 sessions. You will need a personal computer or access to a public one (such as at a local library) with a reliable internet connection.

Registration is now open for the July and August Session of e-Summer School.

 

Step 1: Student Course Requests

  1. Log in to e-Reg with your TDSB student number and the password (the same credentials used at your day school). You can then request an e-Summer School course.
    • Please note: The e-Learning Department cannot reset passwords for current TDSB students. For assistance, contact your day school guidance counsellor.
  2. Submit Request: Select the correct program and session (July or August) and your desired course.
  3. Check Your Email: Check your e-Reg email for a "Course Request Submitted" confirmation email and the attached parent/guardian/caregiver Consent form.

 

Step 2: Approval Process

 

  1. Open and print the parent/guardian/caregiver consent form PDF attached to your "Course Request Submitted" confirmation email.
  2. If you are under 18, a parent/guardian or caregiver must sign the form.  If you are 18 or older, you can sign it yourself. 
  3. Schedule an appointment with your home school guidance counsellor and bring the signed consent form for review.  Your home school guidance counselor will approve or deny your request. You are NOT enrolled until your counsellor clicks "Approve" in the e-Reg system.

Step 3: Enrollment Confirmation

Please check your e-Reg email for your enrollment status.  You will receive a "Course Request Approved" email when your course request has been approved and you have been enrolled.

 

 

Non-TDSB Student Registration Instructions (inactive TDSB students, TDSB graduates, students from other school boards)

Registration is now open for the July and August Session of e-Summer School..

 If you have an existing e-Reg account (X number) and you cannot log into e-Reg, please email [email protected]

NON-TDSB Students will only be enrolled in courses once they have uploaded the required documents.  e-Summer Guidance will approve all external students' course requests.

 

 

Step 1: Student Course Requests

  • If you do not have a User ID (begins with “X”), please set-up an e-Reg account. (f you are experiencing issues with the e-Reg system, the problem may be related to your browser. Please try using a different browser (e.g., Firefox, Edge, Safari, etc.).
  • After completing the registration form, check your email right away (check your SPAM /JUNK folder as well) for a message with an activation link. This link is time sensitive. You must click the link within 48 hours of receiving the email or you will be locked out of your e-Reg account.
  • If you have an existing e-REG account (X number) and you cannot log into e-REG, please email [email protected]
  • Log into e-Reg using your User ID, Date of Birth (DOB), and password.  Select your session (July or August) and the specific course you need.
  • Check your e-Reg email for a "Course Request Submitted" email with a parent/guardian/caregiver PDF consent form attached. 

Step 2: Approval Process

  • Print the parent/guardian consent form attached to your "Course Request Submitted" confirmation email.
  • If you are under 18, have your parent/guardian sign the form.
  • If you are 18 or older, you may sign the form yourself.
  • Your current home school Guidance Counsellor will need to approve your course request. Please ask your Guidance Counsellor to complete the "Day School Permission From NON-TDSB Schools" portion of your signed consent form.  
  • If you are not currently enrolled in a day school, mark "N/A" in the "Day School Permission From NON-TDSB School section."
  • IMPORTANT: Upload your completed parent/guardian consent form and educational documents to your e-Reg profile.
    • Acceptable documents include transcripts, report cards, mid-term reports, and the Ontario Student Status. The supporting documentation must show your Ontario Education Number (OEN).  Please note: if you are sending a photo of your documents, take off the "LIVE" setting as we cannot open files with the extension .heic
    • Note: myBlueprint screenshots and an OCAS listing of your completed high school courses are NOT accepted as proof.  The supporting documentation must show your Ontario Education Number (OEN).
    • To upload your educational document and completed consent form to your e-REG registration follow these steps:   
      • Log into the Non TDSB login screen.
      • Once you are logged in, click on "My Profile".
      • Scroll to bottom of the page to "Support Documents".
      • Click on the "Upload File" button.
      • Click on the "Browse" button.
      • Find your file and select it.
      • Click on the "Open" button.
        • The supporting documentation must show your Ontario Education Number (OEN) and proof of successful completion of the required prerequisites for the course you are requesting. For example, if you are requesting ICS4U, your documentation must show that you have successfully completed ICS3U. The TDSB e-Learning Office will review your transcript or Ontario Student Status Report. Your application will either be approved or denied based on the prerequisites you have submitted.
      • If it is the correct file, click on the "Upload" button. If it is not the correct file, click the "Cancel" button.
  • Wait for Approval: Your request will be reviewed by the TDSB. You are not officially enrolled until you receive a final "Enrollment Confirmed" email. NON-TDSB Students will only be enrolled in courses once they have uploaded the required documents, including the completed consent form.  The TDSB e-Learning Office will review your supporting documentation. Your application will either be approved or denied based on the prerequisites you have submitted.  If you do not provide the necessary documents, your course request will be removed.

Step 3: Enrollment Confirmation

  • Please monitor your e-Reg email for important updates from [email protected]. In order to approve your request we must have received parent/guardian consent (if under 18), proof of prerequisite, and your OEN.
  • You will receive a "Course Request Approved" email when your course request has been approved and you have been enrolled into your e-Summer School course.

 

 

August 2026 Session

  1. Most Ontario schools are on summer vacation starting from June 30, 2026. However school offices remain open the first week of July if you need to obtain Ontario Student Status Report or transcripts. You are still welcome to apply for e-Summer school program. If the school is closed, students can upload their documentation directly to the e-Reg system. Please remember that registration closes for the August Session on July 9.
