High Ropes Course

Helmets and High Ropes

When choosing the High Ropes program keep in mind that students and teachers will be required to wear a helmet. Helmets must fit the participant`s head correctly. If any students wear Jooras or Patkas please notify parents that they need to be adjusted to the base of the head before the trip. If any headwear or hair style cannot be adjusted to accommodate the correct fitting of the helmet the student or teacher will not be allowed to participate in the activity for safety reasons.

Program Description

Students wear safety harnesses and helmets on our aerial challenge course in the trees.  Students will be supervised by Mono Cliffs Outdoor Education Staff who are trained annually as Challenge Course Practioners. All equipment for the activity is provided so students need only bring closed-toe shoes (running shoes) to participate.  Note, we now have a new course with a continuous belay which allows access for grade 5.

This program is run September through to mid-November and in May and June.  Please note that we can only do one of High Ropes or Mountain Biking in a two and a half day visit.

The course is closed when weather conditions are inclement.
