Students take on a role during the Canadian Fur Trade which includes some of the Canadian Fur Trade curriculum elements. In teams, they follow river routes to gather knowledge about food, medicine, technology and fur trade. Their knowledge is exchanged for "furs", which are traded for goods needed to survive and make their lives easier.
