ECO CLUB

Palmerston's EcoKids Club meets each week to take part in and plan a number of Eco activities. Among other things, students do weekly light, garbage and recycling audits in all classrooms, make posters (on reusable paper as much as possible!) to promote ecological initiatives, write letters, announcements and EcoQuiz questions, and plan for classroom presentations on various eco topics, the Earth Day assembly and various related events. Students are given responsibilities and it is expected that they will return to their classrooms to promote ecological awareness.
