Bethune’s Health and Physical Education Department offers activity and fitness-based courses that aim to promote a healthy active lifestyle. We believe that true student success can be achieved when one learns how to live a balanced life. We explore the importance of balance by exploring topics on Mental Wellness, Healthy Decision Making, Conflict Resolution, Healthy Eating and Personal Fitness. We then put our belief into practice by encouraging our students to join co-curricular activities. We offer 15 courses, run 28 sports teams, an athletic council (Athletic Bears Council), and several clubs.
