The Dr. Norman Bethune C.I. Science Department prides itself on delivering a high impact science program for students of all levels and abilities, challenging them with thinking and inquiry based activities with an appreciation for Science Literacy. From this training and background, Bethune’s graduates have gone on to successful post-secondary programs in College and University and eventually into many science-related careers.

Bethune students are active participants in provincial and national science contests in Chemistry, Biology and Physics. Over the years our students have consistently finished in high standing for these contests.
