About Physical Education

Many students enjoy doing physical activities and experts say it is essential to get exercise every day. Phys Ed is just the class for this. Phys ed students play many different sports which are popular all over the world such as Basketball, Baseball, and Football, and some which aren't as well known but just as fun, such as Lacrosse. Our phenomenal Phys ed teachers have created programs which are fun and challenging to students of all levels of athletic ability. Inexperienced players get to learn the basics of each sport, while the pros can focus on improving their game. Students learn how to better their baseball swing, how to shoot baskets with a much higher accuracy, and how to best throw a touchdown pass. Perhaps most importantly, there is always a focus on playing fair and being a good team player. Will the next Vince Carter, Wayne Gretzky, or Mark McGuire come from LCI? With the kind of talent and dedication our athletes are showing, that just may be the case! Just watch a Hockey or Basketball game and you'll see.
