English as a Second Language (ESL)

English as a Second Language (ESL)

A full selection of ESL classes from Beginners (ESL A) to Transition (ESL E) is offered. At the beginning levels, the courses are packaged to facilitate a comfortable entry into the mainstream Ontario high school curriculum. The Intermediate courses help students develop grammar and vocabulary while continuing to assist students in adapting to their new environment. The Transition course prepares students for meeting the expectations of mainstream English. The ESL department thrives on the cultural contributions of all our newcomers.
