Depending on the nature of the infraction, the following measures will be taken to deal with inappropriate use:

• Warning
• Detention
• Restricted use of the computer in the school
• Non-use of computers for a specified period of time
• Suspension/expulsion from school

Students and parents should be aware that if students break the law through the improper use of the Internet, police involvement or legal action may be taken.
