What is a Specialist High Skills Major?



The Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) is a specialized program which allows students to focus their learning on a specific sector, while meeting the requirements for the Ontario Secondary School Diploma. This Program will assist students in their transition from high school to apprenticeship, college, university or the workplace.  There are various components that makes up the SHSM.

All requirements must be completed in order for there special destination to be granted on the Ontario Secondary School diploma.
