Students will spend the day outdoors at Kew Beach (or other green space near their school). The day begins with an investigation of patterns in nature and the basics of creating land art. They then work in teams to collect natural materials and create three increasingly more complex pieces of art oin the land based on program learning goals and guiding questions centered around examining the natural world in urban areas and making connections to math and art.
