Ever wanted to create your own mobile app? It's easy with the App Inventor online tools from MIT - everything is done right in your browser! Students can use their AW Google account to log in, create and package their Android apps (iOS apps are not supported at the moment, but it is in development).

Students spend the morning developing logic sequencing skills with hands on activities. These new skills allow them to build some practice apps. In the afternoon, the focus will be "learning to find your own answers", so they can continue to build apps on their own. Students will build their app in Chrome and then test it (as they work) on our Android devices. Finished apps can be saved and installed on any Android device.

We hope your students become inspired to continue their app building with their own ideas.

This program does not have an outdoor component.
