Touring the Tunnels (and Towers in View)
Special Needs:
- ELL (appropriate for students who would be in grades 6, 7, or 8)
Bring your ELL students to explore a unique part of the city while encouraging language development, observation skills and map reading! Newcomers to Toronto will be amazed at the network of “tunnels” that connect Toronto’s downtown office buildings. Begin at Union Station and follow “The Path” beneath TO’s vibrant downtown core to complete this language-based field activity!
(Towers in View is an excellent complement to this program.)

Program Length: full day (9:30 am - 2:00 pm)
Availability: winter (January to mid-March)
Location: downtown Toronto (meet at Union Station)
Fee: $300.00 per class
User fees help ensure the continuation of these learning experiences through partial cost recovery; fee schedule reflect rates subsidized by the Toronto District School Board.
TTC: each student requires 2 tickets, IF over 12 years old
Maximum: 30 students
